When is this ad from? (The bit on the left gives a date – I think – but it only lists the year as "seven") I'm interested in the mayo container at bottom right. Kewpie is currently sold in these Japanese soft plastic squeeze bottles that frankly make me nauseous to touch. We should revive that buttplug shaped jar thing.
One of my high schools had the Kewpie as a mascot, so every time I see Kewpie mayonnaise in the store I laugh.
The website I got it from didn't give the exact date. It was part of a collection of postcards from the late 19th and early 20th. Here be more Kewpies.
