About "grant access," since we're all probably going to have to get used to that being its own designation now:

I rarely post anything that I would be uncomfortable having strangers read, but sometimes I do lock things because I want to keep them off of search engines or make sure that real life friends, family, and coworkers don't see them.

If I've granted you access, and you don't know me, it's nothing personal and I won't be insulted if you choose not to add me back. But, I'm here to talk to people, so I'd be thrilled if you do.

If I've added you recently, there's a good chance I saw you jumping off of the same sinking ship and thought, hey, I wouldn't mind sharing a lifeboat with that person.

My current fandom interests are mostly danmei, but I like to post about whatever it is I'm currently enjoying. My posting here is sporadic because most of my old friends have moved on, but I'm hoping to build up a fandom circle here again.

Hello! Messaging you about this because you seem to be active-ish and are listed on a bunch of the old mod posts. Some friends and I wanted to set up a similar comm here on DW, but focused on questions about China/Chinese culture/Chinese fandoms. Would it be alright to borrow from the rules and posting guidelines for little_details, with credit? Or is this something I should try to track down orange_fell on LJ about?

Sorry about the delayed response! I've been trying to be more active here but am obviously failing.

Please take anything you think is useful. I wrote most of the rules, and I believe that orange_fell would have similar opinions about sharing anyway.

I'd suggest not copying our attempt at a hierarchical tagging system. Having a list of canonical tags was necessary, but the hierarchical tags was a disaster.

Also, I'd love to join your community if you get it up and running!

hello!!! we don't know each other at all but i'm looking for more dw friends to chat to and follow in an lj kind of way and you seem fun and interesting! I enjoy reading danmei too, mxtx (tho i certainly haven't finished all of her works) and i enjoy reading little oddball danmei that catch my interest as well. :)
