No one wants to hear about your dreams

But this amused me and I don't have a diary so it goes here.

This morning, I dreamt that I was stuck at a party. I was talking to an avant-garde artist and wanted nothing more than to leave. Because it was a dream that followed dream logic, I was stuck in a very literal sense; I didn't even know where the door was.

And then in the dream, I realized: This is a dream. All I have to do is wake up. And so I did.

If only it was that easy to leave and go home all the time...
