I really think that men totally realise what a trope it is, and that's why they're doing it. As you say, that's what women are, you gotta have that, right?
Which is too bad, as I like the punky grimy look of the female avatar from the character design part of the trailer. Her outfit when she has clothes on actually looks useful.
